As the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Eastern & Southern Africa Region joins the global community in marking the World Day for Migrants and Refugees, we are pleased to share our 2025 Annual Report.

The report provides an overview of JRS’s work across Eastern and Southern Africa throughout 2025, highlighting key programme achievements, the people and communities we accompanied and served, and stories that reflect the impact of our shared efforts.

Across the region, JRS continued to accompany, serve and advocate alongside people affected by forced displacement, working with communities and partners to promote protection, opportunity and participation.

The Annual Report also reflects JRS’s commitment to accountability and transparency, providing an overview of our programmes, results, resources and progress during the year.

We are grateful to the communities we serve, our partners, donors, staff and supporters whose collaboration makes this work possible. The report offers an opportunity to reflect on what we have accomplished together and to look ahead to the work that remains.
